Cenk hosting. Republican Rep Farenthold is being charged with sexual harassment by one of his staffers. Details of the accusations, including wet dreams and threesomes are not pretty. Farenthold also owns a website named blow-me.org. Democratic Rep Joe Morrissey is going to jail over sexual crimes with a 17 year old receptionist, but will not resign from his position. During his 6 month sentence, an arrangement will allow him to leave jail everyday from 6am-10pm. Republican Congressman Kevin Yoder is the Rep that slipped the legislation into the spending bill that gives more bailouts and deregulation to Wall St banks. Ever since, Yoder has disappeared from public and social media so that he doesn’t have to respond to any questions about the shady move. After KS gov Sam Brownback created a huge deficit in the state with giveaways to the rich and corporations, he plans to help fill the hole with revenue from a provision in ObamaCare for his state. This hypocritical move comes after he joined the rest of the GOP in bashing the healthcare law. David Koch did an interview with Barbara Walters where he called himself a social liberal that cares about the economy, which is why he pours tons of money to “fiscal Conservative” candidates that actually screw over the entire country for his benefit. President Obama announced normalization of relations with Cuba today. Although the embargo hasn’t been lifted, a deal between the U.S. and Cuba has been reached. The whole thing started with a deal to release Alan Gross from Cuban prison in exchange for 3 Cuban spies we had captured. Cenk goes over some of the changes that will take place. Videos of Marco Rubio complaining about the move, insisting that Obama is coddling dictators and putting a ransom price on Americans’ heads. Rubio went so far as to say Obama is the worst negotiator since Carter. Cenk clarifies that Carter is the only president to negotiate peace in the Middle East. Democratic Sen Menendez also bashed the move to negotiate with Cuba. Wall Street bankers are openly preparing for the deregulations and giveaways the new Republican controlled Congress will give them. They also pointed out that they have to act quickly, before presidential politics begin, and GOPers will have to act like they are for American interests instead of bankers’ interests. Wall St also admits that they are afraid of Elizabeth Warren and her stance against them, so they will support Hillary if she runs against her. Video of Axelrod wondering what people are ready for when they say “Ready for Hillary.” A Georgia pastor is telling his congregation that Santa is Satan, as he has taken over as the deity of the holiday. Ana joins Cenk for SCS. One of the Ferguson Grand Jury witnesses that corroborated Darren Wilson’s story has been discovered to have a history of racism and mental health issues. In the past she tends to pop up as a false witness in many cases in St. Louis. It has also been revealed that she is an open supporter of Wilson. CNN promoted a #AskACop hashtag to answer people’s questions from real cops on air. The hashtag actually generated tons of sarcastic tweets asking cops why they are so incompetent and blood thirsty when it comes to murdering Black citizens. Steve points out that a 14 year old Black kid was convicted of murder and executed 70 years ago after a 3 hour trial and 10 minutes of deliberation. Today, he was exonerated of the crime. The Sony hack drama continues. They have received a terroristic threat from a hacking group that promised to attack any theater that screens the movie, The Interview. Sony believes that the hack could be an inside job since the emails that were targeted were very specific, focusing on just the correct employees to make national news. Some employees are suing the company for not notifying them about the breach. The Obamas discussed race relations with People Magazine and talked about some racial bias they’ve experienced. Cenk has a problem with the mild stories the president revealed. He thinks Obama either didn’t experience serious racism, or he’s hiding it out of fear of being criticized. Jayar thinks he is just omitting the really ugly experiences he’s dealt with. A Texas plumber sold his old company work truck years ago and it somehow ended up in Syria, in the hands of a terrorist group that uses it for combat. The truck was pictured in one of their propaganda tweets, and he has received tons of hate mail and phone calls, connecting him to terrorists. Putin’s production group created a blockbuster style ad for a media conference. Vivid Entertainment has offered Mama June and her former boyfriend, ‘Sugar Bear’, one million dollars to star in a BBW porn film.
