Cenk hosting today in the new studio with the new set! During Dylann Roof’s bond hearing, the judge seeing the case said now is the time for forgiveness from the victims. Video of his words to Fox News. Cenk compares this response to what we say after Middle Eastern terrorists strike. He also pointed out that we should recognize the other  victims, Roof’s family. It also came out that in the past, this judge told a Black defendant that there are 4 kinds of people, one being “niggers.” Conservative reaction to the murders in South Carolina blamed Obama and tried to make the point that we need more guns, and for pastors to be armed. Video of Mike Huckabee saying Obama is going after our guns, right before politicizing it himself. An NRA board member blamed the murdered pastor for the killings, claiming that he voted against widening gun rights, but he made that up. Ted Cruz continued with his gun jokes just 2 days after this killing spree in SC. Debate about the Confederate flag flying in South Carolina is heating up after the shooting. Video of Graham claiming that having it up “works” for SC. Video of GOP candidates avoiding the issue surrounding the Confederate flag. WH Spox told reporters that Obama thinks the flag belongs in a museum. This half assed response annoyed Cenk. A Republican SC state legislator said he will introduce legislation to take down the flag. Video of Nikki Haley announcing they will take the Confederate flag down from the statehouse. Several other Republicans have begun the back peddle in their support for the Confederate flag. Dylann Roof’s manifesto has been uncovered. He outlined how he got his inspiration to kill from a well known White Supremacist group, the Council of Conservative Citizens. Many conservative politicians have openly spoke to the group and know everything that they’re about. The head of the organization has given campaign donations to Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Rick Santorum, and many others. Cruz and Paul have decided to give the money back after their acceptance became public. It took Santorum until the end of the day to do the same. New freshman Senator Mia Love has also accepted money from them. President Obama used the N-word on Marc Maron’s show while talking about how racism isn’t solely based upon using the word in public. Fox News went crazy on the fact that he uttered the word, ignoring the point that he was making. Video of Fox & Friends and their Black guests losing their minds over this, bringing up the “gangsta rap” crowd as who Obama is appealing to. Ben Carson has been on the right side of this argument from the beginning. He wrote an op-ed that lambasted Republicans that refuse to accept that the killing was based in racism. Talk about the real origins and reasons for establishing the 2nd Amendment and “well regulated militias.” Part of the reason was to give Southern states the ability to protect themselves from the United States from breaking up their slave trade and slave patrols to stop uprisings. Fox & Friends had a competition between the two male hosts of axe throwing at a target. One completely missed the target during a tease and threw the axe at a member of a band playing for the show. Videos of the accident and subsequent interview of the injured band member where they acted like nothing happened. He later wrote on Facebook about how he didn’t know they were going to be tossing axes. Ana joins Cenk for SCS. Erick Erickson blamed Caitlyn Jenner for the murders in South Carolina last week. Dylann Roof and Officer Slager are prison cell neighbors after they both killed Black citizens in South Carolina. Phoenix sheriff Joe Arpaio has announced he will use his private police force to patrol and protect Black Christian churches in his town, but the churches rejected his offer. After Apple iTunes announced they’d be launching a streaming service by giving away 3 months free, Taylor Swift threatened to exclude her music if she wasn’t paid during the time. Her big name also got every other artist paid when Apple changed their minds. Adult Summer camps are popping up where adults go, get drunk, and have wild sex are very popular. Cenk talks about how he had this idea years ago. The Illinois Supreme Court has ruled that Comcast must relay the personal information of an internet user that harassed and defamed a political candidate. The politician is suing and needs the defendant’s info in order to sue. Ana is in favor of making Comcast hand over the info. Woody Harrelson’s AMA on Reddit fell apart when a question about his crashing a prom and taking the virginity of a girl there.
