Cenk hosting. Jeb Bush’s bad week on the unofficial campaign trail. He accidentally announced that he’s running for president, he was torn apart by a 19 year old college student about the creation of ISIS, and he went back and forth 4 times on whether or not he’d invade Iraq. The woman has not gotten a lot of political attention after confronting Jeb. Video of Bush’s back and forth on Iraq decisions. Video of Scarborough wondering what’s wrong with Jeb and his brain. Cenk is pointing out that Republicans have finally figured that the invasion was a horrible idea. The latest polls show that Jeb is 5th in Republican support for president, and a 48% negative view. 60% of all voters wouldn’t consider voting for him. With these numbers, Cenk is annoyed about him being considered a frontrunner. Fox News’ Stuart Varney strongly disputed Obama’s criticism of the network’s negative portrayal of the poor. Video of some of the instances that Varney demonized the poor and exalted the rich. Kim Jong Un of N. Korea has killed another close military advisor by obliterating him with an anti-aircraft weapon since he dozed off at a military event. Cenk sees Kim Jong Un as Joffrey from Game of Thrones. Other reports say that he also had his aunt poisoned because she complained of him having his uncle, aka her husband, killed. Sam Harris and Noam Chomsky had an argument via a series of emails that have now been made public. They argued intent of America bombing innocent people. Cenk picks apart the false assertion that Israel had no intent to kill innocent Palestinians. A vaccine for lung cancer out of Cuba has been introduced. They have proposed to offer it to Cuban citizens for free, a sharp contrast to what our pharmaceutical corporations would do with such a vaccine. Russ Feingold has announced his run for Senate in Wisconsin. Video. In response, Conservatives have launched an attack website on him, claiming he has supported radical legislation in the past. Rep Blackburn spoke to a “Freedom Summit” and claimed that Christians are being persecuted in America. When Lauren Windsor asked her for an example of the persecution, Blackburn had nothing. Ana joins Cenk for SCS. The House has voted for an overhaul of the NSA’s bulk phone collection practices, forcing the agency to get a warrant before searching someone’s records. Boehner is pushing for the Senate to approve this as well, but McConnell is pushing back. Cenk asks if Ana or Jayar would do the same thing Edward Snowden did and deal with the consequences of being exiled. Rick Santorum told a Conservative organization that men who father children among more than one woman are “sexual predators.” Ana lists some prominent Republicans that fathered children from multiple women, the kinds of people that Santorum considers sexual predators. The cherry on the top is Ronald Reagan. Now that Austin, TX has a majority of women in the city council, the city manager had an expert that has worked with a female commission come in and tell the audience how to work with women. Video of him explaining how differently women process things. Cate Blanchett casually told an interviewer about her same sexual encounters...many times. When asked if she considers herself bisexual, she said she never thought about it. This made Ana wonder if a male actor had said the same thing, if he’d be considered straight anymore. A local Fox news station covered the story of a Picasso painting that sold for a record amount. Since the painting had boobs on it, they blurred out the nipples.
