Republican Senators collectively defended the Patriot Act renewal by using 9/11 as a scare tactic over and over again. Another circuit court ruled that a man’s rights weren't violated when he was tracked via his phone data. U.S. oil company heads and investors are going to Iran to work out some deals to utilize their oil reserves if Obama’s lifting of sanctions on Iran goes through. Tom Cotton told Wolf Blitzer that based on the Texas attack on the Mohammad drawing contest, that ISIS appears to be “winning.” John details the latest losses ISIS has suffered in their battles with opposition. Despite the latest numbers on CO2 numbers, Jim Inhofe took to the Senate floor to remind everyone that CO2 is good for plants. The Cleveland Cavaliers were forced to take down a playoffs ad that was posted to their website that depicted domestic violence between a couple. Update on the story of DEA agents arresting a UCSD student and leaving him in a jail cell for 5 days straight with no food or water. The punishments for the agents was simply letters of reprimand and weeklong suspensions. The Pentagon-issued credit cards to military members have been audited and found that they were used at casinos and for escort services in Vegas. The likely punishment will simply be a reminder that they shouldn’t do that. Results of the NFL’s Deflategate investigation has implicated QB Tom Brady as “generally aware” of the scheme. Miley Cyrus opened up about her own sexuality, mentioning that not all of her relationships have been heterosexual. She brought this up when speaking about her charity that helps young homeless LGBT citizens. Talk about how some of her tactics rub people the wrong way. The Microsoft website called “How Old” had some fine print for the internet users that submitted their pictures to be analyzed for age recognition. Upon submission, Microsoft and their affiliated companies were given license rights to use them in any way they’d like. An internet consuming study claimed that fecal matter is in many men’s beard. Slate swiftly debunked the study that had everyone talking. Ana was against this story from the beginning because she doesn’t want the sexy beard look to go away anytime soon. Iranian religious police have outlawed spikey hairstyles that they deem “devil-worshipping” by targeting the barbershops. They believe the hairstyles are only worn by gay people.
