Cenk talks about his trip to DC for the Correspondent’s Dinner weekend. Talks about the politicians and actors he ran into and which people are fans of the show. Talks about the Republicans that surprisingly love the show. One reason being that they use TYT’s takedowns of some GOPers that happen to be their internal opponents. Also, some Democrats that don’t like how TYT cuts up the fake politicians we disagree with. Some even approached Cenk by pointing out that they saw his “attacks.” Cenk tells the awkward interaction with Martha Raddatz.

Cenk and John Iadarola hosting. Two men near Dallas were killed when they attempted to attack a Muhammad cartoon contest that was being held at a convention center. One officer was shot, but is ok, while both attackers didn’t survive the gun fight. The event also gathered top anti-Islam advocates to speak on how bad Islam is. Pam Geller organized the event for an organization deemed a hate group by SPLC. Cenk and John are annoyed that these shooters walked right into their plot to have shooters show up, so that they can claim all Muslims are the enemy, and that they can’t handle anyone else's point of view. Some tweets alluding to the attack just before it was attempted, emanated from one particular account. Geller, who sponsored the event has taken to television to push her propaganda message of hate towards Muslims, calling it illustrative. Videos of Geller arguing with CNN’s Alisyn Camerota about the objective of her event. Carly Fiorina has announced her campaign to run for president on the GOP side. Video of her announcement campaign. John dives into Fiorina’s record as CEO of Hewlett Packard. Video of Fiorina’s old Senate campaign ad that featured a hilariously fake evil sheep. Ben Carson has also announced his bid to become the next president. John reads through some of Carson’s craziest quotes. A waitress in Kansas decided to give the governor a good political statement when she noticed that he was sitting in her section at the restaurant she worked at. Upon delivering the check to him, she cut out the “tip” section and wrote in for him to “tip the schools” since his policies strip the school system in favor of the rich. Despite the note, Brownback left a 10% tip for her. Cenk asks John, a former waiter, if this move was generous or dirty since it was only 10%. Ana replaces John for SCS. The investigation into the shooting of Tamir Rice is slowly ongoing by authorities as they’ve asked the Rice family to drop their civil suit so that the murderous officers can be protected in their criminal case without their civil suit comments being used against them. Before the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight happened on Saturday night, the media closely covered Mayweather’s history of domestic violence that was previously swept under the rug. In response, the Mayweather crew denied press credentials to Rachel Nichols and Michelle Beadle. Rick Santorum spoke out in favor of Bruce Jenner’s gender identity story, claiming that “if he says he’s a woman, then he’s a woman.” Throughout his seemingly thoughtful statement, Santorum mentioned “business” multiple times. Cenk points out that gay business leaders that give them money probably spoke out and told these open bigots to STFU with their anti-gay rhetoric. Others in the business community that aren’t gay are worried about how homophobes are now in the minority, which could hurt their bottom line with consumers. Madison, WI has passed legislation that would protect Atheists from discrimination, making it the 1st city in the country to do so. Australian cops entered a resident’s home in search of a wanted man and found a “to do” list of a woman that lived there. They posted the list and dubbed it “The Stoner’s To Do List.” Ana thinks the cops made it up to prove that stoner’s are empty minded. The first FDNY firefighter has been allowed to become be put on despite her failure to pass the necessary physical tests. A Texas high school is dealing with a chlamydia outbreak. The school doesn’t believe in, or have a sex ed program, as they’ve embraced abstinence only education.
