Steve Oh, Dave Koller, and Hank Thompson host this edition of the Friday Post Game. Hank Thompson describes his position at TYT and talks about his outside career as he makes another on-camera appearance. Dave talks about a tragic story about a boy growing up amid the 1994 Rwandan genocide to put modern American problems in to perspective. The young man is now in the United States and is currently attending Harvard University. Steve is skeptical about the intentions and effect of the article out of the New York Times. Steve thinks that stories regarding systemic issues are much more worthwhile. He also talks about the tokenism involved in such uplifting immigration stories. Hank and Dave share their views on the story. Dave talks about a UNC scandal where fake classes were set up in order to protect their student athlete's grade point averages so that they would remain NCAA eligible for competition. Steve shares his disdain for collegiate athletics in general. The monied system as it is seems to create many troubling disincentives. Show notes by Ben Tannen

Cenk, Ana, Iadarola, and Desi Doyen hosting. Cenk remembers the life of Frank Mankiewicz. A new American case of Ebola has risen. This time it’s a New York doctor that worked with ebola patients in Guinea. He, and 3 people he came into contact with have been quarantined. Some lawmakers have proposed a quarantine and limited ban of people that have knowingly been in contact with ebola patients. Ana finds merit in these proposals. Video of Rep Chaffetz, Cartwright, and Farenthold outlining his reasons for wanting a travel ban at a Congressional hearing on the panic is played. The panel discusses whether or not this makes sense. Video of Louie Gohmert spoke to a Conservative show about how gays in the military will want massages before battle, causing them to not be ready for the tough war ahead of them is shown. A hatchet wielding man attacked a few NYPD officers in the street yesterday afternoon. Upon reading his postings online, it was discovered that he is a Muslim that wants to carry out jihad. Chris Christie told a group that he’s tired of hearing about minimum wage, and was called out for his disregard for a large number of Americans that can’t survive off of such wages. The top 10 Squarespace winners are announced. A popular NYC restaurant investigated why their wait time and service have suffered in the past 10 years, causing more disgruntled customers and complaints. After comparing 2014 tapes of patrons, to 2004 tapes, they discovered that customers’ incessant cell phone use caused a normal dinner time to be increased by nearly 1 hour. It has been revealed that a large number of student athletes at UNC took nonexistent classes that gave them excellent grades. The scam ran from 1993-2011. A pro feminism video has been put out of young girls constantly using the f-word to show how many more things are more offensive than girls cursing. Ana hates the delivery, as it derails the conversation, but Desi disagrees. A British man was being investigated for scamming a neighbor out of tens of thousands of dollars, so in order to avoid prosecution, he faked paralysis and comas for months, going in and out of hospitals. Authorities finally tracked his grocery shopping and caught him faking the ailments.
