Cenk and Ana hosting. A new video has surfaced from CNN of the Michael Brown shooting and the video is helping confirm what other witness saw during the shooting. Benton Mackenzie of Iowa, was facing at least 15 years in jail for growing 71 pot plants in order to help treat his terminal cancer, but received probation instead. Brenton was not allowed to mention his cancer as part of his defense. Republicans like Bobby Jindal are beginning to change their tune about allowing the pill to be obtained over the counter in order to pursue more votes in the 2016 midterm election. Dale Tillery, 134th District Court judge from Texas, has decided not to seal the records in Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones' lawsuit. The civil lawsuit filed by Janet Waverly alleges sexual harassment by Jerry Jones. A catfight breaks out between Mike Tyson and Nathan Downer. Mike Tyson was interviewed by Nathan Downer who brought up Tyson’s past rape conviction and Mike did not like it. Google has broken its 4 year silence on net neutrality and gave a statement against internet providers over controlling the speed and flow of the internet traffic. Cenk hosting. In a prime time address last night to the nation, President Obama has authorized air strikes in Syria and Iraq to fight against ISIS. President Obama said that it is “America that has the will and the capacity to mobilize against terrorism”. President Obama mentioned that there is “no plotting” or current plans from ISIS to attack America. President Obama has not pursued congressional authority for the air strikes. Chuck Hagel says that ISIS is “an imminent threat” to every interest we have. Cenk breaks down the real reason why we are pursuing ISIS and reveals many sources like the NY Times mentioning that there is no corroborative evidence regarding ISIS planning to attack the US. Ted Cruz ,appearing on Fox News, gives his reaction to the speech mentioning that President Obama's remarks are “fundamentally unserious” and manufactures a new Republican talking point calling it the “Obama/Clinton foreign policy”. Marco Rubio also appears on Fox News and joins in on that talking point. More fun from Ted Cruz as he gets booed at a rally for a group called “In Defense of Christians”. Ted said, he is saddened by the group's consumption with hate and that if “you will not stand with Israel I will not stand with you”. Hamas is now willing to talk to Israel according to a statement by Hamas’s number 2 leader. According to Raw Story, the US Air Force has told a sergeant that he will have to leave the military, unless he agrees to take an oath including the phrase "so help me god." While most of the fire from the public and congress regarding sexual assault in the military is focused on women, many men are also victims.
