The BBC investigated and spoke to store owners that have had Taliban customers and revealed that some of their favorite products are Dove soap, Head & Shoulders, tighty whities, and specific colognes/perfumes. Game of the Turks video. TYT Chicago’s contribution to the point contest to get TYT in their city. A Seattle city attorney was busted for taking legal marijuana to work with him. He later apologized profusely and offered to pay thousands of dollars to a charity. Cenk hosting. 2 Cat fights. CNBC anchor Steve Liesman shouted down Rick Santelli about how wrong he always is when he predicts the future. 2nd catfight pits Rand Paul against the upstart Rick Perry on foreign policy. Perry called Paul an isolationist, prompting Rand to point out that his new eyeglasses haven’t allowed him to see the world more clearly. The Morning Joe Crew talked about how Rand Paul doesn't have a chance to win the Republican primary, that Mitt Romney will be there again to take the mantle from Rand. Cenk predicts that Elizabeth Warren and Rand Paul could be the nominees for President in 2016. Citigroup has settled on a $7 billion payoff for their part in destroying the economy. Cenk points out how their obvious criminal activities are negotiated to a settlement rather than jail time the way any other American would if they were caught stealing. Citigroup’s decision to pay a settlement shows that they know they did something illegal. Republicans are still talking about impeachment for President Obama. 68% of Republicans are on board to get it going. The fake IRS scandal investigation spearheaded by Republicans has scared the IRS into announcing that they will no longer investigate 80% of tax-exempt charitable organizations. These are the kinds of groups that crooked politicians mimic to funnel tons of money into their campaigns. An Arizona charter school has chosen to use textbooks written by a “Controversial anti-Communist” backed by the Tea Party that push Christian Nation propaganda. Their interpretation of early American history skews it in a racially biased direction. Its teachings on slavery claim that it was beneficial to the captured Africans and that Southern racism was prompted by abolitionists. It also claims that White children were envious of the “freedom” slave children enjoyed since they didn’t have to go to school and wear clothes. The fighting between the Palestinians and Israel continues with over 175 Palestinians killed with 0 Israelis dead. Video of PM Netanyahu pointing out to FoxNews that what they’re going through is the equivalent of 80% of America being bombed. He also claimed that Israelis are protecting civilians while Palestine is putting them out to be bombed to protect their missiles. 17,000 Palestinian people have sought refuge in UN shelters.
