Gina Grad joins Ben and Ana to talk about a 98 year old women being evicted from her apartment in San Francisco. Using a loophole in the Ellis Act, the building’s owner wishes to sell the property in order to make a profit. Donald Sterling denounces his wife, his lawyers, and the NBA. He refuses to sell the Clippers, and is threatening the NBA with unending lawsuits. Sterling calls his wife a pig in a courtroom, claiming that she deceived and betrayed him. Sterling fails to prove his competence in court. A terminal cancer patient in Iowa was found guilty of drug charges for growing marijuana to deal with the pain of his cancer. He was not allowed to use his medical condition as a defence. His family is attempting to repeal the verdict, and it is believed that he will not survive in prison due to his health. Mike Boyer wishes to be the first legal weed buyer in Spokane, WA. He waited 19 hours to be the first person in the shop. A coworker saw him on TV and ratted him out to his employers who proceeded to fire him. Tomas Rica from New Jersey has been convicted of stealing $460,000 in quarters from parking meters. The TYT Supreme Court decides on the matter. A new study on hypersexuality in women is discussed. Ben and Ana Hosting. Conflict between Israelis and Palestinians continues. 16 Palestinians were killed in recent airstrikes by Israel. Palestinians launched air strikes on Israel, but because of the Iron Dome, none hit. Minimal Israeli casualties and massive Palestinian casualties occurred. Israel has hit over 900 targets. Israel is not respecting the elected party in Palestine. Israel and Palestine are stuck in a cycle of violence with many of the victims being Palestinians. ABC World News covered what’s happening between Israel and Palestine and got facts wrong. The news agency misidentified the victims as Israelis, but they were in fact Palestinians. ABC News has issued an apology. ISIS’s use of social media to support their cause is effective and well orchestrated. Attempting to rally the support of the media using commercial products, videos, and apps. ISIS wants to be both loved and feared and is taking advantage of journalists’ need for access. ISIS sent a letter to FIFA warning them not to host the World Cup in Qatar. Rick Perry gets challenged in a CNN interview by Kate Bolduan. Rick Perry denies that he was conspiratorial, but Kate quotes him referring to Obama as a conspirator. Ben outlines how Rick Perry’s glasses help his image. Tod Akin endorses a new book and referred back to his comment regarding a woman’s body's ability of “shutting itself down” during rape. Despite apologizing for the comment, he is now doubling back to defend it further. Mike Huckabee defending Akin, wrote the forward for his book. Ana talks about how some conservatives may be afraid of women being independent because of birth control. A survey conducted by Commonwealth Fund shows that most Republicans are satisfied with Obamacare. Most of America is satisfied with the Affordable Care Act. New Nixon audio tape is released with the President talking about homosexuals. He believes that he is tolerant towards homosexuals, however he goes on to say that they have a problem. He acknowledges that they are born that way. Ben talks about Nixon attempting to destroy what makes America a republic and lists Nixon’s follies.
