Austin police pull over a black man under suspicion of drunk driving and give him a breathalyzer, in which he blows a 0.00. They arrest him and charge him with a DUI. Police continue to defend their decision to arrest and detain him, although the mans charges were later dropped. A 19 year old in Texas lured a gay man to his own and viciously beat him, sending the man to the hospital for 10 days. He has been charged with a federal hate crime. Federal prosecutors refuse to press charges against police in MI who shot and killed a homeless man holding a pocket knife. Police shot 47 times, hitting the man 11 times. In a People Magazine interview, Paula Deen compares herself to Michael Sam. A Harlem church is getting flak for putting up a sign that blames Obama for releasing “homo demons”. We play video of the pastor talking shit about TYT and laugh. Real estate scam in Japan, where agents would pretend to fall in love with clients, make them buy property (often with a 40% markup), then break up with them. Ben Affleck wanted to offer testimony to the Senate about the Congo, but his offer was rejected by the House. Affleck also had a very awkward handshake with John Kerry.
