President Obama shakes hands with Raul Castro at Nelson Mandela’s funeral. The White House tries to deny any wrongdoing, as it scrambles to make excuses. Cenk shows pictures of all the numerous times our presidents/politicians have shaken hands with unsavory political figures. Obama’s selfie pictures with the Danish PM are discussed. Cenk slams down any notion that this is a scandal. Fox News and former head of PR Brian Lewis tiff is discussed. Apparently they have settled the dispute through a large amount of hush money - 8 million to be exact. Dick Cheney’s thoughts on Chris Christie during a Fox News interview are discussed, showing his lack of interest in him. Since Newtown shooting last year, the percentage of Americans that support background checks has dropped, but its still at 77%.  Dems are at 95%, and Republicans are at 66%, but those proposals still lose.  Mother Jones also reported that since the Newtown shooting, 194 kids have died due to gun violence.  The average age of the victims is 6 years old.  Rep Yoho planned a family gun safety day on the anniversary of the Newtown shooting.  Writers against mass surveillance have collectively come out speaking on it to raise awareness. The creator of the show The Wire spoke out at a conference for Dangerous Ideas about the ridiculous ways America destroys itself by fighting against its citizens.  The head of the Virginia Republican Party was speaking out against President Obama and said that the President is so close to death, that a life insurance policy is going to be taken out on him.

After Lulu Lemon dealt with PR battles over controversial comments by one of the executives, he’s been forced to step down.  Question of whether or not companies should cater to all sizes.  Video of BIll O’Reilly going off about how the Denver Post hired a marijuana editor to write about the weed culture.  A Chinese man hurled himself off of a 7th floor level of a mall after he and his girlfriend got into a fight over how long she was shopping.  He died immediately.  Researchers discovered that some people do suffer from some form of PTSD from watching traumatic television.
