Cenk hosting today.  More ricin-laced letters accompanied with threats were sent to Bloomberg and President Obama.  Latest developments in the Toronto mayor crack smoking scandal.  5 of his staffers have either been fired or have resigned.  Videos of Ford refusing to step down and avoiding questions about the existence of the tape.  The suspect connected to Tamerlan Tsarnaev that was killed while being questioned by the FBI had bullet wounds that looked like an execution.  The reports of his aggression and weaponry changed multiple times.  Todashev’s father conducted a press conference to show this evidence and call for an investigation.   The Bush Admin torture whistleblower has been convicted by the Obama Admin despite his promise to look forward instead of looking back.  Kiriakou wrote a letter outlining his really tough time in prison.  The violence in Iraq has ticked back up.  Eric Holder’s apology tour for going after the press hit a roadblock when he asked for a closed door, off-the-record, meeting with several outlets.  All of them rejected him.  Talk of whether or not Holder should be fired.   President Obama is looking to nominate James Comey, formerly of the Bush Admin, as the new FBI Director.  Ironically, Comey is the only one of the Bush Admin to stand up to their illegal practices. Gay Rights activists have been active in donating to Obama and are holding him to giving them results.  They’ve announced that the money flow will stop since there has been no action.  Larry Lessig’s discussion about the defects of Citizen’s United with an analogy about “Lesterland.”

Ana and Cenk criticized for calling the NY Times model super skinny and anorexic.  Her father wrote an open letter disputing Cenk’s points and asking for an apology.  Cenk and Ana discuss.  Women are now top earners in 40% of American households, sparking a debate about the role of women Brian Fisher of the American Family Assoc. says women as breadwinners puts a strain on marriage.  Lou Dobbs and Juan Williams railed against the health of these developments.  Fox News’ Erick Erickson chimed in as well, calling men’s dominance scientific.  A Republican House Staffer tried to get his Democratic friend a job there and wrote a recommendation that started by calling her extremely hot.  Cenk is ready to give him a pass.  In El Salvador, they’ve ruled that a pregnant woman whose life is in danger, while her baby also probably won’t make it, can’t have an abortion.
