New proposals in Congress to weaking financial regulations; proposals were written by bank lobbyists, of course.  Average CEO pay continues to break records. Lanny Breuer, whose job was to prosecute bankers, explained why he didn’t pursue these criminals and outlined that he’s worried about other banks coming to get him for taking down their cohorts. Analogy about drug dealers being prosecuted while bankers walk free for their crimes.  A bridge in Washington state collapsed last evening.  It was on a list of bridges labeled “functionally obsolete.”  All of the state’s bridges get a grade of C-.  The debate over whether or not tornado relief for Oklahoma should be offset by spending cuts before funds are administered.  Sen Tom Coburn called it typical Washington B.S.  Lack of safe rooms or tornado shelters in Moore, OK. The new Pope Francis has declared that Atheists can make it into Heaven.  House Republicans passed a bill that would cause students rates to go up over time. The DCCC created a simple ad pointing out their attack on students with loans.  Elizabeth Warren proposed that students pay what we comically charge the banks, a rate of .75%.  Conservatives lost their minds at this reasonable proposal.  Bernie Sanders proposed allowing his state of Vermont to label foods with GMOs, but was greeted with lies and manipulation in opposition by paid-off senators.  Progress report of states that are pursuing an amendment to get money out of politics.

Update on the Atheist woman that was asked by Wolf Blitzer if she thanks the Lord for surviving the tornado.  A fundraising account was created to help her out, and $50K was already raised.  The Boy Scouts have finally allowed gay scouts into the organization.  Scout leaders still aren’t allowed.  Vice Documentary on a new drug popping up in Greece called Sisa. Evangelicals are rethinking the vehement nature they portray the loss of a woman’s virginity before marriage.  Some pharmaceutical companies are experimenting with bear bile to help some condition.  The manner in which they go about extracting the bile is horrific.  A new ad campaign to get young men to own up to their responsibility depicts young guys as pregnant.  TYT Supreme Court decides whether or not this is an effective ad.  TYT viewers responded with their thoughts.  NY Times Magazine featured a super skinny model, causing an uproar.  A divorce clerk in China claims to have prevented 500 divorces by telling feuding couples that their printer isn’t working, so they have to go home, causing them to think about it.  In many cases, they never came back, allowing them to stay together.  A man sent an orgie to his female neighbor's house by posing as her on craigslist, asking for a bunch of random men to show up for sex.  When they did, she wasn’t amused.  He has been charged with identity theft.
