The AP phone surveillance scandal.  Jay Carney and Eric Holder dueling press conferences.  Rand Paul questioning the outrage Obama expressed over the IRS scandal.  David Sirota wrote about how this is a valid thing to be upset about, but that we should hold the Republicans just as accountable as we are holding Obama.  He harkened to the many times the Bush Admin blatantly used the IRS to attack its political enemies.  Julian Bond feels that the targeting of the Tea Party was legitimate, as they are the “Taliban Wing of American Politics.” President Obama pointed out that Republicans will continually work against him because they’re afraid of talkers like Rush Limbaugh criticizing them.  Video of Barbara Boxer blaming the GOP’s blocking of funds for embassy security for the attack in Benghazi.  Ben points out that ABC’s anchors and reporters are spouting Republican talking points straight from Rep Issa, claiming Obama “can’t have it both ways.” The GOP’s State Director for Hispanic outreach in Florida joined the Democratic Party.  Russian officials claim that they have captured a CIA spy looking to recruit one of their members.  Its hard to believe that this guy is an actual CIA spy. Candidate for mayor in North Miami, Anna Pierre claims to be endorsed by Jesus.
