Cenk, John Iadarola, and Brian Unger hosting.  Republican Don Young told an Alaskan radio station that he and his father hired “wetbacks” on their ranch when he was a kid.  Republicans like Boehner and Cantor have come out hard against Young’s comments.  A racist EMT was exposed as the author of racist posts by a reporter, and was eventually fired.  Supporters of the EMT came out harshly against the reporter, showing their own racist tendencies.  Audio of Rep Steve King telling a radio listener that was upset about the Obama’s vacationing, that the daughters were given extravagant vacations to expensive places. Fox and Friends discussed the priorities of government and lambasted things like Planned Parenthood and the sequester.  Lanny Bruer, former head of the criminal division for the Dept of Justice, is getting paid by private companies now that he retired from government after not prosecuting ONE banking company for their tremendous law-breaking.  EPA unveiled a proposal that will cut down emissions from our cars with more regulations in our gas.  The Petroleum Institute’s chief lobbyist complains that this will raise gas prices by a lot. A pro-gun control group is using the assassination attempt on Reagan to show that he also wanted background checks for guns.  Opponents are calling this divisive because they have no real answer for this.

Some fundamentalists are mimicking the crucifixion of Jesus to feel closer to God right before Easter. Alan Simpson is criticizing his own Party for their discriminatory views on women’s sexual rights.  Although he’s right on certain issues, Cenk warns us to not trust him on much.  A survey showed that a large portion of women making over $200K/year are still worried about being destitute.  Dave points out that men are clueless without their women, but women thrive when their men are gone.  Cenk is the example that fits Rubin’s point.  A wealthy Atheist wants to make it a civil rights issue.  Cenk believes that Atheists should do the same kind of work that Evangelicals do in the name of Atheism. LA restaurant shames people on Twitter when they no-show after making reservations. They talk about the sociopathic owner of the restaurant, who also called out a food critic and shamed her. This dude is arrested after beating up his roommate because he woke up with a penis drawn on his face. Massachusetts police close the case on a 30+ year old rape case, after finding the convicted rapist in Maine, with his grandchildren. Cenk brings up Presidents, elected officials, etc. who have smoked pot in earlier in their lives, but still became successful. Cenk also poses the argument if we would care as much if the guy didn’t commit rape, but another crime like larceny.
