Habemus Papam!!  The new Pope is Francis I.  Cenk digs deeper into his opposition to gay marriage and adoption.  On the other hand, he’s against the horrible ways the poor are treated.  Jesus is against this Pope because he didn’t win the Pope office pool. Videos of the ridiculous media coverage of the unveiling of the Pope. Mary Jo White is up for the head of the SEC, to punish and regulate the banks.  In her confirmation hearing, she openly spoke about how they avoid prosecuting the large institutions if they believe it will hurt the economy.  While they allow banks to break the law, the government has decided to use the banks to go after regular citizens.  According to Reuters, plans to give full access to database of financial information of all American citizens they’re interested in.  List of the 5 corporate enemies of the internet have been identified.  They are the groups that use people’s information and hands it over to the government for surveillance purposes.  Finspy is the program that accesses users’ computers to control everything, including the mic and camera to see what people are doing. Some Democratic Constitutional heroes have sent a letter to the President to address more concerns on the drone program.  John Podesta also stepped out and spoke strongly against the Obama Admin’s policy of withholding information on their justifications for killing American citizens.

Update on the Chris Dorner case.  The two women whose pickup truck was shot up by the LAPD isn’t getting a new truck from them because they expected the women to pay the taxes on the new one.  The police also wanted them to pose with the new truck to make the cops look better after the bad press.  The LAPD’s statement blames the federal government for charging taxes on the truck that someone will have to pay.  Tesla’s green loan from the federal government to develop the new environmentally safe car has already been paid back.  This is the same company that Romney called a ‘loser company.’  Story of penguins population quickly declining.  Story of charter schools vs public schools, and the push toward getting more kids in charters.  Microsoft and Amazon are pushing this move so that they can easily sell their tablets to the schools and make a huge profit.  After all of this, it turns out that charter schools don’t produce more educated students than public schools. A woman tried to sell her 2 kids for $4000 in order to bail her boyfriend out of jail.  Pat Fagan, a fellow at the Family Research Council spoke on their radio show about how we should punish unmarried people that have sex instead of allowing them to obtain contraception.  Video of a concerned father in Minnesota speaking about why he’s against gay marriage; because it leads to sodomy, which leads to AIDS.  HBO’s Girls had a controversial sex scene that sparked a big debate over crossing the line with boundaries.  Others also disliked the fact that the show showed such an explicit scene.  Cenk and Ana discuss whether or not the sex was non-consensual.  The Pleasure Chest in Hollywood is offering classes for women to take care of their men on Steak and Blowjob Day on March 14th.
